Sonya and I hit it off the moment we met! She was such a kind, sweet and fun bride to work with. Her happiness was contagious and every time we spoke or met to discuss her wedding it felt as if I was meeting with a close friend. A lot of her excitement was because she was marrying her high school sweetheart! Their wedding was definitely one for the books. We were fortunate to not only work with such a great couple but a lot of our wedding vendor friends too.

Birthday parties are always so much fun to plan! We love getting to celebrate another year of life! Carol celebrated her 80th birthday with a beach theme with her whole family. The flowers were full of color that matched the vibrant linens! It was a very special evening for a very special lady!

I am so excited to share with you pictures from Kelly and David’s November wedding at one of my favorite venues; Barclay Villa! They really could not have asked for a more beautiful and perfect fall day in November. I loved working with Kelly and David at Barclay Villa in Angier, North Carolina. This sweet couple met while in college at UNCW; the same school that I graduated from! We were able to incorporate a candy bar – who doesn’t love a candy bar? It makes the perfect party favor! Kelly also had blue ornaments for guests to take home to remember their special night. Kelly & David did a first look which is becoming a trend and the pictures are coming out so beautiful. Molly & Chris shared their vows with friends & family on a crisp fall Saturday night. They created a beautiful greenery border along the Barclay Villa’s ceremony site. It was the perfect touch! How can you not incorporate pumpkins for an October wedding? Molly & Chris painted them gold to add more POP with their pumpkins. So elegant! We also love seeing unique guest books – this couple asked their guests to sign their new set of cornboards. What a special memory whenever they bring them to a party or tailgate.
