Surprise parties are a BLAST!! Especially when you pull it off! Wanda has worked at Duke Hospital for many years so some of her closest co-workers contacted me to pull off a perfect and thoughtful retirement party. One of the nurses hosted the event in her yard, rented a tent and provided a quilt that all of her coworkers signed and it was presented to her at the party. What a special moment! Dinner was served and catered by Cannon Catering. DJ Frank Carbone kept the celebration going late into the night! Congratulations, Wanda!!

Arlen and Daniel are the type of couple that makes everyone around them instantly feel loved. Whether it’s her infectious smile or his contagious laugh, they always seem to be lighting up the room. Laughter, love and happiness was truly surrounding them on this April day. Raindrops were not even going to interrupt their happiness! Arlen and I worked together for several years when she worked for The Cupcake Shoppe and I was truly honored when she asked me to be her wedding coordinator. She is so loved by so many – Daniel even serenaded Arlen during the reception – talk about romantic!

Alicia & Jordan shared their vows under the castle-like elegant garden at Barclay Villa! This venue has so much character throughout the mansion. It exemplifies antique beauty! Guests kept saying that Alicia looked like Elsa – beautiful blonde locks with a sparkling tiara. She was a princess! We went with purple for flowers and decor and it was the perfect POP of color to use to bring out the beauty in Barclay!
